Over the years I have begun to assemble the pieces in my head for what I feel works and doesn’t work in worship leading. I figured it was time to put these thoughts down on paper. I would love to pass along just a few things I feel strongly about...For now, here are just four of my somewhat organized, mostly jumbled drummer thoughts on worship leading.
The book that Scott Rubin and I co-authored has just been released and its sub-title reminds me of a few important junior high ministry principles.

As adults who work with impressionable adolescents, we have influence. These students trust us, they travel with us, and they learn from us. We are kidding ourselves if we believe that students buy into our philosophy or strategy before they buy into us. When we ignore character and integrity in our personal lives, we are forcing them to pay a very high price.
