Miss Fix, I see that you are

Miss Fix, I see that you are certainly going through a lot. I admire your devotion to Christ despite your circumstances. Does not Psalm 37:16 say, "A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked"? You seem to understand that principle very well. It is much better to have a right relationship with Jesus Christ and have few possessions than to be wicked and have the world. Besides, "for what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" (Matthew 16:26). Of course, if one knows Jesus Christ as his personal Savior, he cannot lose his soul; but he can lose rewards, can he not? For "if any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire" (1 Corinthians 3:15). I encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord. Don't let the world pull you down into a life of vanity. Keep living for that which is worth it, and God will bless you. After all, He promises to supply your needs (Philippians 4:19). And, especially here in America, He blesses us already with so much more; truly He gives us "richly all things to enjoy" (1 Timothy 6:17). We must be content, though, for "godliness with contentment is great gain" (1 Timothy 6:6).

Beautiful, thank you, Pastor

Beautiful, thank you,
Pastor Greg

Thank you for the wonderful

Thank you for the wonderful perspective. We struggle through the same things. Our heart is right but its the times when the flesh begins to prevail that we stumble and complain.

God is wonderful and the only one worth serving and relying upon.
