Everyone Has a Voice (Josh)

The last few years in youth ministry have been incredible—we’ve gone from a few influential voices to an incredible community of people writing about their youth ministry experiences. Today I wanted to highlight a few voices from the trenches of youth ministry (Kurt will be back with more tomorrow)—blogs we read that you may not have heard about but that we think you should add to your Google Reader.

He’s an older youth worker who is partnering with a younger youth worker to chronicle their time as small group leaders in their ministry. In full disclosure, he is also a good friend of ours, and it’s a pleasure to watch him minister to students.

It will only take a couple minutes with Brooklyn to see that she is doing real ministry. Although she’s often requested as a speaker at big events, she’s in the trenches in her church and doing missions work regularly. You need to have her heart and perspective in your life.
