Kicking off the school year. Launch of small groups. Youth group. Adult services. Speaking in big church. Christmas chaos. Overnighter. New Year’s party. Scavenger hunt. Parent drama. Driving the kid home after waiting an hour because his mom never did show up. Trying to finish a seminary course so it doesn’t become a 12-year journey instead of 11. Newborn baby. Newly married. New church. Tough conversation with the senior pastor. Someone was offended by your message last weekend. Leaving a student behind at the gas station. Followed by that evil thought about leaving him there for an hour just to scare him.
