Thank you for your great

Thank you for your great thoughts on mentoring. Don't forget the not-so-special students who need mentors to come along side them in life. They are usually the ones who don't fit in to the youth ministry...are too timid or just not comfortable in the typical youth group setting. A small mentor program within a youth ministry can bring those students in to the church and more importantly give them someone who will be their cheerleader and model a growing relationship with Jesus.

We all need mentors in life. And what a blessing to be a mentor!

This was a great read. We too

This was a great read. We too often worry about how much we don't have and not focus on who is in our group. We do need to grow numerically too but that growth comes when students feel welcomed. I relate to your post bc I have three children of my own and a parttime minister wishing I could be fulltime and work another job. Thank you.
