I have a daughter who is captain of her high school soccer team, and the sports season has started with terrible conflict. Unfortunately, it has been solely due to the unChristian behavior of coaches.It is very disappointing, and the lesson has been "this is NOT how to act".They have won every game, but due to bad behavior of coaches, so much joy has been taken from them. My prayer for them is to hang in there and learn that there are ways to treat people respectfully, and with integrity, just as Christ calls us to do. You are so right that playing for God's glory is all there is. That is our prayer always.Thank you for this wonderful article, I intend to share it with the team. God Bless.
