Mark DeVries is the founder of Youth Ministry Architects, a hands-on youth ministry coaching service for churches. For the past twenty years, he has served as the associate pastor for youth and their families at the First Presbyterian Church in Nashville, Tennessee, where he continues to oversee the youth ministry on a part-time basis.

Mark is the author of Sustainable Youth Ministry (Intervarsity Press, 2008) and Family-Based Youth Ministry (Intervarsity Press, Rev. ed., 2004).
